Stephen Arnold BUCKLEY b. Dec.26, in Glenbeigh, County Kerry. It is believed he came to US in mid 1850's. Married Johanna (June( GRACE b Jan.25,1830 in Waterford, Ireland. the marriage took place in Jerseyville, Ill. on May 1, 1860 8 children were born of this union, all born in Jerseyville, Ill. The family moved to Houston, Texas mid 1870's where Stephen opened his own business, "Buckley Shoe Company" He died Feb.1,1899 in Houston, Texas. His wife passed Sep.3,1906.
