Oops! I made an error when I stated that Arthur and Nancy (Anne) Sewell came over in 1847, they actually came over in 1849 with 7 children, one died just as they arrived in Canada. Arthur Shewel was in the Irish Tithe Appoltment Book (1828) reel# 256629 in the County Cavan. When he first signed his name here in Canada he did use Shewel, later it was Sewell. Can another one help. His wife was his first cousin.
