Edward CUSHNAGHAN born County Antrim, Ireland, March 1830. Parents: Edward CUSHNAGHAN and Mary CULLEN. Brother:Daniel, born 1838, County Antrim. Edward (1830-1921) came to the US in November 1951, on the ship William Rathbone. Daniel (1838) came to US in 1866. Trying to find marriage of Edward (1) and Mary CULLEn, and from what parish/township they came from in County Antrim. After their arrival in US, name changes to CUSHMAN and by 1870, both brothers using the name CUSHING. Have found CUSHNAGHAN's in a couple of places on the Antrim census....but no Edward. Same for Tithe. Roman Catholic in US. Interesting twist: Edward CUSHNAGHAN and Mary_____, with Children, Edward age 3 and Jane age 1 arrived in Canada in 1833. Don't know if it's the same family, but interesting connections. I am in contact with Ron CUSHMAN in Ontario who is descendant of the Canadian Edward....and I'm descendant of the US Edward. Canadian branch are Presbyterian. There are other interesting connections between the two families...babies born in one country when can't be found in the other...etc. Process of elimination rather than facts. Help! Any suggestions welcome!! Peg Buckman DavePeg@ix.netcom.com .... http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Meadows/7401/
