Seeking details of the marriage of David George Atkinson to Brigid Gartlett (probably 1820s/1830s). David was a publican and landowner at Mountrush near Ardee in county Louth and it is believed he died about 1843 . They had 7 known children including 3 who never married (names unknown), Sarah (who married Coote & migrated to the USA), another daughter married a Lyons and went to the USA, also a son John who became a Jesuit Priest in New York. I descend from their daughter Mary Ann (born about 1839) who was the only one who came to Australia with her husband Anthony Stokes. Can anyone help me at all on finding a record of Mary Ann Atkinson's birth/baptisms, her marriage to Anthony (between 1853-1857), the marriage of Mary Ann's parents (probably 1820s/1830s) or birth records of Mary Ann's parents, David & Brigid.
