I would lke to say that the main reason for me being on this list is that I set-up the Monday Irish chat session on IIGS and at least one person on this list told me it would be a good idea to join, while they were at the chat session. So the advertising goes both ways. I don't think it is any different from the Webring - if someone visits my web site the presence of the Webring encourages them to see yours.
