    1. [FIANNA-L] Donegan's
    2. Hello Everyone, I am new to this list. I was wondering if anyone could help me get a little further in my research. I've hit a brick wall. Here is what I have so far, mostly from the 1900 US Census in NEw Jersey. My g-grandfather, Jeremiah Donegan, and his wife, Ellen (I'm not positive that they were married when they emigrated), emigrated to the US in 1877. Jeremiah's parents, J_____? and Margaret, then emigrated with 2 of their daughters, Margaret and Hannah, in 1879. Margaret states that she was the mother of 11 children, 8 of whom were still alive in 1900. All were born in Ireland. Here are their birthdates as stated on the census: J______? Jan 1827 (could be Joseph but I can't make it out for certain) Margaret Mar 1831 Margaret Sep 1871 Hannah May 1878 Jeremiah Dec 1859 Ellen May 1860 Any help would be much appreciated. I haven't been able to get any farther than this. I've tried searches for these Donegan's in the Irish databases, ship's lists, etc. Thank you Mary
