    1. [FIANNA-L] CONROY-----FAHERTY/FLAHERTY BROOKLYN, 1887 FORWARD
    2. Lorraine Conroy
    3. Trying to find out if we have found the right Conroy in Co.Mayo, Thomas Conroy & Mary Costello, Cong, Mayo, children James & Thomas 1865, Thomas seems to fit, it's the only combo of these 2 names that I have been able to find. Understand they came from Mayo. Thomas married in Brooklyn to Mary Faherty/Flaherty in Feb 1889.Thomas lived on Wallabout st, Mary on Greene av. She came from a large family. One of her brothers keep the name of Faherty, he buried some of the family in Holy Cross in Bklyn, and it gives his address as 207 Moffat st, which I know was right as we visited him there in 1950. Learned that he had either a daughter Eleanor or a step daughter ,Where is she, where is Andrew & his wife buried? They also had a brother named Thomas who was in the Spanish American war and died in 1918, wife was Sadie, children Raymond ,Thomas & Eleanor McMullen, where are they? They lived in Jackson Hgts in 1946 when Sadie died. He worked in the navy yd. Most of the Flaherty/Conroy men worked on the docks in Bklyn. Thomas my g.father was killed there in early 1901. no death certificate due to him drowning ,no body recoved. Because of this my g. mother had to place the children that couldn't work in St Dominic's home, my father being one of them , 4 went in in 1905, 3 returned home, the baby died within 3 mos. of being there. The children went back home in June 1907. Hoping some one sees something in this that they may be able to help me find where Andrew and his wife are buried and where some of their children might be if alive. Thanks to all Ed Conroy
