Dianne,i have no connection with this name but a dear friend and now dead spent all of his life researching the name he was a solicitor Kelvin Eaton and he spent many years overseas looking and finding the origins etc,he had a massive libary of information on this name,when he died he donated all of it to the Hurstville Libary in Sydney Their address is the Civic Centre and the post code is 2220,Kelvin was probably the authority on the Eaton name ,he was a solicitor.
