    1. [FIANNA-L] In re- Organinizing your work
    2. I use a hanging file for all my papers including originals but I photocopy everything first and keep that SEPERATELY in binders for each family. This I take on research trips. But - one of the best things to organize your work is to write it up. I started writing a family history very soon after I started my research. The idea was that it would never really be finished but that my children would have it all available if something should happen to me.(perhaps I was spending too much time in cemeteries!!) And my aging aunts and uncles wanted a chance to share my work. This has taken a year but it is being self-published as we speak. Meanwhile, as I gather bits of info I edit the draft. AND this rough draft I take with me to do research. On my last two trip I haven't consulted my files at all - only my paper! Most importantly - our research is only valuable if we share it and pass it on! Don't forget to writie it up and donate copies to local libraries, etc!!! Amy
