I did finally find out they were from the West side of the mountain in a tiny place called Clash in Kilquane and Garrane in Kilmalkedar parishes. anyway... any chance you might have a photo of Mt Brandon? or Connor Pass maybe? all the picture books of Kerry I've seen show the Ring of Kerry and another mountain... but not Brandon.
