Hello, I'm new to Fianna just signed on last week. I have enjoyed reading the posts this past week. I wish I knew about this list sooner. There is very little information for my Irish ancestors. Ggrandparents: John McDEVITT b.Penn. d. c.1889 in St. Louis, Mo. Parents born Ireland Ellen McCARTHY b. Ireland death at Mount St.Rose Hospital, St. Louis,Mo. c.1896 She came with her parents and two other daughters. No names for them. Supposedly her two sisters remained in NY. Married John McDEVITT prior to 1886 in St. Louis, Mo. I have not found them on any US census so far. I plan to order Mo. state census from the local FHC next week.
