Hi, My name is Sherry. I just joined this list , and thereby clued into the Fianna page. What a great page. I spent lots of time there last night...and I haven't even looked at the tutorials yet. I've only been doing genealogy and the internet since last fall. A year ago I thought I "might' have a couple of Irish ancestors. Now I find I have at least 6 and possibly 8 families who came to Ontario, Canada, from Ireland, before 1833 ( the last two came certainly before the 1870s, but probably back in the 30s, too) and one more who was in England in the late 1800s. So I have nine names and at least 5 localities to search. Obviously, I need to learn lots. I have not yet attempted to access any Irish records. Glad to find your list and web site.
