My summer will be hectic: See message below: I'm not sure how this will effest my correspondence. To all my good friends out there, have a happy summer. I've had bad news. My pre cancerous throat has finally given up. Push has come to shove. They will remove my esophagus before the middle of July. Not a very happy prospect. It will supposedly remove the cancer. Side affects (living without an esophagus) are not too happy to contemplate. I'm going to enjoy our family get together over the fourth. It is always nice to have family together. I imagine spirits will be dampened somewhat as I have to share my news with all. I've been promised in a blessing that "My life would be spared to fill my full measure in creation". I've had 10 years reprieve since first diagnosed. I certainly can't complain. The Lord has given me an extra 10 wonderful years. I have faith that I have a measure to accomplish, especially in getting the family history together. I will be content as tht measure is accompished. Until then I am folded in the Lord's arms as he carries me thru this present situation. :) I can not tell you how comforting it is to know the Lord is carrying one along. The old Body may be infirmed but the spirit is still able to "Soar and Fly". Cheers to all Georgene
