Any helpful info I have received has been from :Church records from Parish Priests, or from LDS library, marriages, etc. Have :paid some researchers over the years, most of them come up empty. Thomas BYRNE m :1832, Ballysax, Co Kidlare, to Mary KELLY. She was the dau of Daniel and Sarah :BYRNE KELLY m Co Kildare, James BYRNE and John FLOOD were witnesses. Most of the :ch of Thomas and Mary were baptized Suncroft Catholic Parish, Ballysax area, Co :Kildare. They came to San Francisco ca 1867 with 5 grown children. Dau Sarah m :James GLYNN, died Moone Parish, Co Kildare. James BYRNE m Ellen DOWLING :Kilcullen, Co Kildare. Thomas was b 1805. The only Thomas I found b 1805 was son :of Garrett & Anne BYRNE. Dont believe he is ours. You talk about Irish naming :systems a lot. their oldest son was Maurice..the only place I found Maurice was :Maurice MOORE, of the Moore Stables in Ballysax area, Co Kildare. Bridgit ALLEN :b 1848 Co Clare to Denis and Bridgit CLEARY ALLEN to San Francisco and m 1872, :Daniel BYRNE, son of Thomas and Mary. Most of the info I recd on Bridgit was :from an ALLEN woman in Co Clare, lost track of her. I had Eliza MOONEY, to NY :1848 age 16 with sister Mary age 18, listed as shoe binders. they sailed from :Dublin. She was Catholic, married 1852 Henry BEW/BUE from Harlaxton, :lincolnshire, England. Henry was Church of England. Found his parents, what :happened to Eliza's? Ellen Byrne :
