I received a copy of my 2nd great grandfather's internment papers and low and behold, his mother's maiden name was listed! Big cheers went up in this household! Okay, does this ring a bell? Bernard O'CONNOR (b) est 1805-1835 and Catherine (Kate) BIRMINGHAM (b) 1805-1835, both born in Ireland, had at least Bernard and Elizabeth O'CONNOR, both of Ireland. Bernard (b) about 1840 (d) December 23, 1920, and Elizabeth both died in Rhode Island. Bernard married Ellen Frances AHEARN and Elizabeth married Thomas NOTT. Does this ring any bells for anyone? I have a notation that Bernard (son) - B2 as we call him, was born in County Cork but I don't know how reliable that is...I also know that Ellen AHEARN was from Tipperary. Hope something rings a bell for someone. Desiree
