    1. [FIANNA-L] Funeral Homes & home addresses in Brooklyn or NY area

    3. Hello again, Researching OBRIEN (OBRIAN) and HARDING in Brooklyn and perhaps elsewhere. That great staff at Holy Cross Cemetery was kind enough to send me the information about the Funeral Homes that made the arrangements for my relatives. Does anyone know anything about them. Are they still in business? What part of probably Brooklyn were they located? Perhaps this will give me some direction when I am searching for my elusive ancestors. They are only listed begining with the 1926burial of my uncles Charles HARDING (1907-1926) - Daington Funeral Home - no location listed William HARDING (1903-1951) -J. Kearns Funeral Home (maybe Brooklyn) my grandmother Ann HARDING (1874-1955) - W. A. Martin Funeral Home -location unknown My grandmother was in Goldwater Memorial Hospital onwhat I believe may have been known as Welfare Island (anyone know anything about this island or hospital/?nursing home perhaps) I believe my grandmother lived at the following addresses but I am not sure during which years: 146 East 31 Street 311 State Street, Brooklyn (perhaps with her son William HARDING (1903-1951) 724 Franklin Avenue (perhaps here with grand daughter (Nancy HARDING Bankowski) Are these addresses of any help in my genealogy searches? Nancy Bankowski is deceased and her daughter in law thinks this is correct. I feel I should know more about Brooklyn, but although I was born there, I moved when I was 10 years old to the "suburbs".
