Re what to do with all the loose papers. I have been collecting them for over 30 yrs-many yrs ago I printed 3 or 4 books-a kind soul indexed some of them-they are the easiest. Two yrs ago I had boxes of loose papers-since I am at an age as to what will my kids do with these- I started typing them on the computer,printing in booklets, sending them to LDS, Dar, Sutro libraries and any others that might pertain to the particular families area. I sometimes send copies free, even pay the postage to anyone working on those lines. Many of the booklets have helped a lot of people..lots of people helped me over the years. Have just started using the Family Tree Maker thanks to a cousin I found on the internet - but in the booklets also I have various family group sheets, etc. Hope this gives you an idea. Good luck.
