Ellen, I thank you for the information you have listed as this will defnitely help me in my search for the surname FERGUS. Would you please look it up for me and tell me where it is found and with what frequency? I would be most grateful. I am researching FERGUS in 1750's and having a tough go of it, so have decided to search all FERGUS from further ahead and try to backtrack. I am certainly glad that it is a rather small surname.
