    3. Hello Folks, Here's my brick wall;I hope someone can drill through it. My great-great grandfather Timothy O'Connell took out his Declaration of Intent in Nov. 1847 in Niagara County, NY, and was naturalized at the same place in 1852. He resided in Niagara Falls at the time. He appears in the 1850 census as unmarried. His wife was Ellen Moylan. They had two children, John, b. 1853 and Ellen b. 1855. I believe Ellen died shortly thereafter, and the family came west to Winnebago Co., Wisconsin. I cannot locate a marriage record at the church where the children's baptism records were found (St. Mary's- Niagara Falls). Sponsor's name given as Maria Moylen. Believe Ellen's mother's name was also Ellen. William Branchford was also a sponsor and accompanied them to Wisconsin. I'd also appreciate suggestions as to where he might have come from in Ireland (citizenship papers only give Ireland:( ) Any suggestions? Thanks. Mike Dellger
