Hi Mary Ann: The Griffith's valuation of Ireland Index is an index of names of people who owned or lived on the land in the years 1848-1864. It will list the name, County, Parish & location/Town. Nothing else. If you want to know family, you must go to a genealogy library and look up the listing in the books. I have a griffiths index and I purchased it through the Family Tree Maker site online. It costs about $50.00 Plus tax and shipping and handling.I believe their url is familytreemaker.com Good Hunting. Theresa Maheinsz@aol.com wrote: > > I need a refresher course.
