    3. I am researching the following names: Boland, Michael (1804), Vaugh(an), Margaret (1804), and W. Brodie. Michael and Margaret lived in Harrisburg, PA after immigrating to the US in 4/1862 from County Clare, Ireland. They arrived here with three of their eleven children: Stephen & John (12/24/1855) Anna (1853). Their other children were Margaret, Mary, Bridget, Thomas, Joseph, and Nancy. They all made Harrisburg their home. Margaret lived to be 102 and outlived all of her children with the exception of John. I have not been able to narrow down my search to a parish or a town for this family. Everything--tombstones, death certificates and naturalization papers-- merely state County Clare. The Bolands were Catholic, and I hope someone can help narrow my search in finding records in County Clare so that I can continue moving back in time and learning more about the family. As far as the surname Brodie, I just found out after reading Margaret Boland's obituary--front page story-- that she had a living sister at the time of her death: Mrs. W. Brodie. Mrs. Brodie originally lived in Harrisburg, but she moved to Ida Grove, Iowa at some point. I have not had a chance to check the census for Mrs. Brodie, so at this point in time, I do not know anything else about her. If there is help out there, I will glad accept.
