GDAY:) Im in South Australia researching My Direct line of CLENDINNEN That came from Ireland to Australia. The Family Originally came from Co Down Ireland.. My ggggrandfather being JOHN CLENDINNEN born 1770 in Co Down, Married a MARY CHARLOTTE ELLIS, or Charlotte ELLIS in 1802, Havent Found their Marriage..so No idea where in Ireland they were married There were several other Families called CLINDINNIN/CLENDINNEN etc in Co Down, But have been Unable to find our johns Parents. My ggrandfather SAMUEL ALFRED CLENDINNEN came here to South Australia in 1875, he was Born in Co Carlow in 1851 Interested too in anyone researching the Name CLENDINING as a Direct line in Ireland too.
