    3. Hi Laura, I have been on this list a long time and just watched.....a good list though I do think everyone is too quiet now. Anyhow Laura I think your idea to put people's interest in counties on a database a great way to go towards assisting those people like me in a slump. I cannot connect to my ancestor in Ireland.... Simon Joseph LEDWICH is said to have come to Victoria, Australia around 1851-52. Simon's Father was Thomas LEDWICH and his Mother's name was Ellen McCABE, I do not know where from or what ship Simon came on. I do surmise though, that he was probably married as he was said to have had a son John Patrick, born on a ship ( I can't find John's birth certificate either ). I do NOT know his first wife's name ( she died ? around 1856? the date is hard to read on Simon's second marriage certificate)....Simon married again to an Eliza RYAN ( Eliza came from Tipperary, Ireland )in Australia and had another son, Simon died of diahorea at age 30. On Simon's death certificate and his marriage certificate to Eliza RYAN it states that he was born in Kildare, Ireland. Does anyone have any idea how I should proceed from here? If you have any connections to the above people I would love to hear from you. Any help given will be appreciated.
