Patrick McDermott, b. 1832 in Mullingar, Westmeath Ireland married Brigget Deegan, b. 1831 in Cty Kilkenny. They are married with three children in 1860 living in Wilmington Delaware. They live in Euclid Ohio,(1866) Hamtramck Michigan,(1870) Warsaw Illinois(1880) and finally settle in Chicago Illinois before 1900. They have three additional children. Patrick had siblings who likely emigrated: Catherine (b. 1834); Bridget (b. 1830), John (b. 1839) and (possibly)Mary (b. 1837). One of these women may have married a NAUGHTON and settled in Chicago, Illinois. In Cleveland Ohio in the 1860 census there is a James CULLEN. He is believe to be related to this family. I am looking to make a connection. His spouse is Anna--and may be a DEEGAN. Is she Bridget's sister? Ginny
