Hello, I wish to make a request. If anyone has any WW1 photo's of the "Royal Irish Fusiliers", especially those of "other ranks" I would love to have a copy. Firstly for myself as grandfather, William Lowry, was a l/corporal in the 7th battalion of the regiment and was killed in action in France on 26th April 1916. Secondly, to present them to the regimental museum in Armagh. After I paid a research visit to Armagh the lady in charge did say that they would love to have more information on other ranks. So, if anyone would like to send me thier family stories of the Faughs in the world wars I will collate them and present them to the museum, with proper accreditation, off course. Any hard copies of photo's will be returned to the owner. Also required are things like enrollment certificates, postcards, letters from the front. In fact any info at all that can be made up into a story of those who were at the sharp end. Thank for reading this. -- Gordon Lowry -- Gordon Lowry
