In 1770 he was sent to Ireland. His wife, Isabella (Griffith(s)) accompanied him. They had a son, George Griffith, born there in 1773, and was christened in St. Pauls Church. Was in the 54th Regiment of Foot in Ireland 1770 - 1775 and in America from 1776 - 1783.(American War of Independance) He went to Nova Scotia after discharge in 1783. Would like to know where in ENG he came from and any other info to anscestory.
