The Irish-Canada list will not be a mailing list. It will be a list. Here is part of the "What is the Irish-Canada List": "You and others can search the IRISH-CANADIAN LIST by surname, date, location in Ireland or Canada, and perhaps get a clue to further research. In contributing to the list, you should be prepared to share your genealogical information with others. Your address is given in the list so others can contact you directly." The Irish-Canada (probably will include Scottish as well) is for sharing information. I know this is redundant for some of you, if you have access to a web browser, please check out <http://www.bess.tcd.ie:80/roots/IRISHCAN.HTM>. This will be the format I'll be using.
