    1. RE:
    2. Gorman, Tim
    3. I'm Ireland-bound! Next week I'm coming to Ireland for the first time to do some genealogical research on my family line and to see what all the fuss is about. I might take in a couple sessions at the Genealogical Congress but we'll see... My family apparently comes from Moycarky parish in Co. Tipperary, so I'll be spending some time there. I'd like to find a guide to cemetaries in that parish in a effort to locate distant relatives. Does anyone know of such a thing? Furthermore, I'll be spending some time in Dublin at the Archives, NL, GO, etc. If anyone has any recommedations as to what might be the best way to proceed to make the best use of the short time that I'm going to have in the city, I'd really appreciate it. I've done a good deal of research on this end to get to know the availability of resources over there, etc., but it's never as good as first hand knowledge, if you know what I mean. Hope to hear from you, whoever you might be, Tim Gorman

    3. All of the surnames I currently had on hand have been added to the list. Kay, I need your correct email address, as the one I had, and used on the list was returned to me as undeliverable. Dan067 I need your correct email address, as the one I had, and used on the list was returned to me as undeliverable. Everyone!!! Please think about your surnames. Take a look at the surname page. Try to follow that format. I am unable to sort out a long narrative and format it. I ask you to do that (although the long narratives are VERY interesting and should be shared with the list!). I am also unwilling to put bare names up. At least tell us where the surname is currently, or even better some hint of where they came from and maybe by when (see my entries...). It's a big help to me if you put them on your letter in alphabetical order. Use a format like: SMITH Daniel,b.c.1932 Cork,IRL>NYNY 1956 m. Susan ? in IRL. That way people know a bit about what you're looking for, and even if it isn't theirs, they may notice something similar when they are looking in other places, and let you know! 1. And the winner is!??!
    2. Anne Boyes
    3. Hello, all. I just ran a test to make absolutely sure the list wasn't down before announcing the winner for the pages we cavort in! I again remind EVERYONE -- Do NOT NOT NOT post this URL publically! Some of the material may be covered by copyrights, etc that could cause us trouble. Our only desire is to have a quiet protected area on the web where we can share, as on the list, but a bit more extensively. Soooooooo! Turn your browser to http://www.geocities.com/~hoseahouse/fianna/fiandex.html and visit the 16 (count 'em!) pages we have there! As people send more stuff, we'll put more up. I still have surnames for five people to put up and am working on it! No, I won't tell the name...go find out for yourself! We had almost a tie, so the second and third high choices are recognized in their own way. You'll see! ;-) Anne Boyes boyes@gardener.com <center>http://www.geocities.com/~hoseahouse/gen/gene.html Linking to Lives: An indexed collection of links for doing genealogy, beginner to experienced! http://www.geocities.com/~hoseahouse/irish/irish.html WildIrish Roves: Irish Genealogy, History and Culture, with a little Fun! </center>
