I am researching the names of McCracken and Eadie McCracken: I am interested in any information about ancestors, family and descendants of Henry Joy McCracken, Ulster Rebellion leader of 1798. John McCracken, my grandfather and a descendant of Henry Joy McCracken, came to Lanarkshire, Scotland, with his wife Rose Anne Campbell probably towards the end of last century. They had several children, including George who emigrated to Canada with his wife Bell and their sons Jack, Gordon and George; and another son, Joe, who married Sarah, had six daughters and emigrated to Detroit to work in the car industry. Any information would be greatly valued.
