    2. conaught2
    3. Since I have not done any research in Canada I was hoping some somebody knowledgeable in Canadian research might be able to make a few suggestions. A friend is researching his O'Henry family but has only been able to go back to his GGG Grandfather James O'Henry who was married in 1841 in York, Ontario. James O'Henry came from the north of Ireland, but the county is unknown, but is believed to be County Tyrone. Unfortunately there are a lot of Henrys in Tyrone in the Griffith's Valuatuion. What is the best way to go beyond the 1841 marriage date in Canada? Go raibh maith agat for your help. Beannachtai, Margaret (Mairead)

    2. I have a will (supposedly my great grandfathers Robert Long stating he was from Derrinaseery in Queen's County Ireland. In this will he gives all interest in his lands of Glankit and Derrinaseery. I have not been able to find out where these lands are located. I also have a letter from the Department of Agriculture and Food (Records Branch) stating these lands of GLANKITT WAS A TOWNLAND. Also stated that these lands are contained in an Abstract of Title relating to the Estate of the Countess of Limerick. Can you help me at all?

    1. Ireland books
    2. ConnorsGenealogy
    3. I have updated the Irish books section of my website with new books and lookup volunteers. Many on the list visited Ireland over the Summer and probably brought home a new book or two. If you are like me, you needed to buy a new bag to carry them all home :-) Maybe some new parish history books have been published that is not included in the Parish History books section. So, check out the books listed and if you find you have books that are not listed, you can use the convenient form on the bottom of each page to submit them. I will then include your book with my next update. Of course, you need not be a lookup volunteer, if you list a book. Thanks to all who have made this website so successful. You can find the links at the bottom of this page: http://www.connorsgenealogy.com/books/ Also, if you find a book that you might like to buy, on this page are many bookstore links, many located in Ireland. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by Norton
