I am searching for Amelia Ann Ryan (Turner Hebert). Born Sept. 19, 1864 & died June 11, 1943. I don't know where she was born, but she is burued in Columbia, LA, in Caldwell Parish. I'm also searching for Adelaide Dyer. I don't know the year of her birth or death. She was either born in Ireland or France. But believed to be Ireland. Through family we've been told that she moved with her family from Ireland to Alcase-Lorraine, France. Later Adelaide married William Githens of France. They had 4 children, 1 dying as an infant. If anyone can help me with any of this I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Melissa Lewellyan Thomas Sheridan wrote: > Joe & Laura Schmidt wrote: > > > > This list is not normally quiet. I am lookling for information regarding the McEnroe family who lived in Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Country Cavan in the mid 1860's. My grandmother, Catherine McEnroe Flynn McCauley was the daughter of a John McEnroe and Mary King. Anything regarding the parents/or siblings would be apppreciated. Contacting County Cavan yielded no baptismal record for Catherine who was born on February 14, 1864. Perhaps she was born in another country or place in County Cavan? She immigrated to the US in 1881 and her first husband's surname was Flynn. JMB--NJ USA

I have photos of relatives tombstones that note that they were born in the Parish of Glenariga(n) in Ireland. I believe that it is in County Clare, and may be in Kinvarra or nearby, however, I have never found that Parish. I believe that it is a church parish, not civil. Has anyone seen a record of this parish or could point me in the right direction to find? Thanks in advance. Dick Kearns Researching: KEARNS, KELLEY and WILSON from Ireland.
I have only been on this list for a short time. I am not sure if the first name in my search is Irish or not. According to my great grandfather's death cert, he is gggfather came from Ireland. The person whom is said to have come from Ireland is Simon SIRON. Simon immigrated to PA and then to VA. He married a woman named Castle or Cassel we are not sure as of yet. Now I did find a document where it is spelled Syren. I do have some Irish lines that I will be working on, but right now I am trying to concentrate on one line at a time. Thank you. Toni Jaworski. Others went to New Castle PA. They are Owen and Ellen McCleary Sheridan, believed to be from Meath, sons Thomas, Eugene, James, Anthony & Lawrence and daughter Ellen (Sister Saint Francis) The next generation who resided in Sharon, PA were Andrew, Anna, Eugene & Thomas. Thomas and Andrew were born in Illinois where the family must have resided for several years prior to returning to the Sharon, PA area. They would have resided in Illinois about 1897 thru April 1900. They were counted in the Sharon. PA census which was taken in June 1900. I would love to hear from anyone with information on my family. Thank you, Tom Sheridan

Actively researching Catherine Farrell b. 1825 County Tyrone (no knowledge of parents or siblings) and Michael Byrne b. 1814 County Armagh (no knowledge of siblings or parents.) They were married in Cumberland, MD in 1845, so arrived here sometime before then. Not actively researching at this time, but also have GILMORE, SHERIDAN, BRENNAN & CONLAN in my tree.
