Newbury, Ohio Newspaper -- Wednesday, August 21, 1929 (Not sure of the actual name of the newspaper) "Geauga Native Dies in the West" The Burial Was Beside Her Husband in Newbury Cemetery Mrs. Etta Ferris, aged 60 years, a former resident of South Russell, died Saturday, Aug. 17, at her home in Springfield, Mo., following an extended and painful illness. She was a highly respected woman, and leaves a wide circle of relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her. The body was brought to Chagrin Falls, Monday, and funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Cora Burnett, her sister, at 2 p. m. The burial was in Munn cemetery in Newbury, beside her husband. She leaves a son and daughter, an aged mother and two sisters.
