Hi, I don't know if I qualify as new; however, I remain stymied by my gggg grandmother Betsy Ferris, b. 8 May 1793 (NOT in Stockholm NY) who married Manus Murray of Sudbury, VT on 12/24/1818- They had 8 children, among them Anjeanette Murray, my ancestress. Manus is a descendent of Jonathan Murray of Guilford, CT, one of the early settlers. I don't know if Betsey is part of one of the Lake Champlain families? There is a Squire Ferris who sounds like a possibility, but I have reached an end to each path I have taken. I had a message from a kind person who also shares this connection, but I lost her email address in a computer failure.......She had discovered evidence that both Manus and Betsey were buried in Wisc. where the next generation of children was born. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
