Hi, I am looking for the parents and siblings of Betsey Ferris who married Manus Murray on 24 Dec 1818. She was born 8 May 1793 amd died 12 June 1869 in Wisconsin. Her first child, Persis Murray, was born in Stockholm, St. Lawrence, New York. Ancestral file, LDS, also has Betsey born in Stockholm, but I visited there several years ago and the first birth in that community was in 1804.......Manus and Betsey then lived in Sudbury, Rutland, Vt where all other 8 children were born. Recently I received an email from a Ferris researcher who had new information to share, but my system went down and I can't retrieve her message. If you are there, please let me know....... I wonder if Betsey is related to the Ferris family who lived around Lake Champlain, Peter father, sons John, Squire and Peter...... Thanks for helping.... MAE
