Our specific link to Fermanagh “near Enniskillen” is an Elliott family from which three brothers emigrated to America (Pennsylvania) around 1820. The brothers were: 1. John Elliott. Born 17 March 1777 in County Fermanagh. 2. William Elliott. Born about 1787 in County Fermanagh. 3. Irvin[e] Elliott. Birthdate unknown, County Fermanagh. We have other Ulster names: Moore, Finley, McLaughlin - but only the Elliotts have a specific tie to Fermanagh.
