All of these people were born in Ireland Andrew and Rebecca were Protestant They arrived in Boston from Canada or Ireland in 1850 They Arrived with Two small children Robert and Rebecca Maguire My 2nd gg Andrew John Maguire was born in Boston in December 1850 He later married Susan Walker in Boston. Susan Walker was born in Donegal. In the late 1880’s Andrew Maguire and Rebecca had a farm in Perth New Brunswick, Canada. They and all their children died and were buried in Boston, Massachusetts ultimately. Y dna = Y-M269 Carl Maguire from this list is a Y111 dna match , distance 5 Pinpointing the Origen of my Maguire’s remains one of my last genealogy mysteries. I visited Manorhamilton in Leitrim a few years ago. This was based on a COI baptism record that may have been for Andrew and Rebecca’s child Robert. My dna links to Carl carry the path just over the border into Fermanagh . I have found other fragments that led me to visit west Fermanagh. But all and all, my Maguire trail is cold. Stephen J.
