Hello, I am a rather quiet subscriber to Fermanagh-Gold. The ancestors I would love to track further back are Thomas Walker and his wife Isabella Noble. They were Protestants who immigrated from Fermanagh to Quebec in 1845 with their young son, John "Jack" Walker b. 1843. They settled in New Brunswick. Isabella was widowed around 1855. The family story is he was killed by a falling tree. Also, there is a story that he was a Protestant Minister. We have nothing to prove that. Isabella's parents were Charles Noble and Jane Creighton of Derry Honey, Cleenish, Fermanagh. I do not have the details on John Walker's parents. We do not have a Y-DNA test for the Walker family as we are descended from a daughter. Hope someone has advice. I enjoy the list and the wonderful conviviality of the group.
