Casting about for 'straws', hints regarding my Richard CROZIER's emigration to Canada, about 1833, and wondering if he might have been part of a 'community migration'. In the town where he settled (Erin, Ontario, Canada) there was a William CORNOCK and a William WILLIS -- any chance there might be any connections with those surnames among all you fabulous genealogists? Theoretically, they would be families close to the border with Co. Tyrone.

Hi Jean - I have a Sarah Crozier, a widow who married Thomas McCormic in 1870 in Meaford, Ontario. I do not know her maiden name or her first husband's name (except for the Crozier part). When they married, she already had two children, Isabella and George. They later took back the name Crozier/Crosier Older children were Mary, Susan and John who used the McCormic(k) name.
