I have no idea what the distance is between the 2...maybe Co. Tyrone would be a good option? Hi Kate - while we were on a trip round Ireland 2 years ago we stayed overnight at Rosepark House in Derry/Londonderry which was brilliant I gave it 5 stars on Trip Advisor. Thomas and Greta were the hosts and we paid £67 for both of us. info@roseparkhouse.com What made it special, apart from the delicious breakfast, was that Thomas has been heavily involved in the peace process in the town since the 1970s and he told us so much about the history when we arrived. He was so unbiased that it took us a while to work out which community he came from. Cannot recommend highly enough if you are interested in Irish history. We moved after a day or two in each place as we had so many places to visit for FHistory, We had 3 or 4 nights in Enniskillen. Another member of FG drove us around the Boho/Legland area with Viola as a guide, She was brilliant, showing directions and suggesting where to go for lunch, Before we left Enniskillen she invited us back to her house and helped us when we got lost on the road once by driving out and leading us back to the main road. The area my family came from was extremely rural with very narrow roads and tracks and no signposts. Best wishes for a lovely trip! Val Mc > >
