My Great Great Grandfather was William Elliott (1833 - 1874) born Fermanagh. His father was also William. He married Ellen Armstrong (1839 - 1907) in *Trory* on 6 Feb 1855 . Her father was Edward Armstrong. They had 4 children born in Fermanagh - Margaret Jane 1858; Elizabeth 1860;Sarah 1862; and Annie 1864 then Thomas 1867, Rebecca 1869, Susan 1873 born in Lancashire. I have suspicions that there is a link to “Orange Peggy"- "Queen of Trasna". I am hoping to connect with persons interested in this line and look forward to being part of the group! Unfortunately a computer malfunction, so my correspondence with both Madelene Inglis who descends from this Elliott family and Henry Robinson, then President of the Magheracross Historical Society who is connected to the McQuaid family (Peggy’s maiden name) is no longer available!
