    3. Hi, Viola, just a reminder for everybody when googling that different countries have different results. I normally use google.com here in the States. But, I am researching in Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, Gloucestershire, Lancashire, etc. so I use google.co.uk and get way better results. For Canada I use google.ca. Here is the proof. I was in Enniskillen yesterday and called into the Geneaology Centre where a gentleman was seeking information on a Patrick Coyle born Enniskillen in 1766, who had travelled to USA alone when "he was a grown man". He was shipwrecked off Long Island but he survived, married and had family. The Gentleman did not know the year of arrival in US although he showed us an extensive tree linking him to Patrick Coyle. When I came home I Googled "Patrick Coyle Enniskillen 1766". The very top hit was for him. Turned out Patrick was travelling with his parents and was 7 years old when shipwrecked [c1782/3] The stories almost matched. So this must have been annother relative of the Gentleman making enquiries If only that gentleman had only used google he would have been much wiser. Let that be a lesson to everyone searching for their ancestors. Google the name, location and year. If that does not bring a hit change the keywords used. That could uncover annother person researching your ancestor and a possible relative with whom you can combine your research with. Two heads are better than one.
