    3. I am uncertain if what I reply is going to the whole list of just to you. My two letters are really about the family not any neighbors at all are mentioned. The weather and the crops and the prices are mentioned, very briefly. Also, the death of another cousin, a daughter of one of the immigrants to Iowa, who had died recently and I knew about her. The letter writer also states that James was the eldest and first to go, then my great grandfather Charles then John who came back but then went to Boston many years later and died there. The writer mentions several people who went to America and he has not heard from them for years. I had my brother do YDNA and his matches are hugely UK but much more Scotland than anything else. I have taken three classes on DNA but am learning more. Watching webinars, reading, there is a new DNA blog that looks good and I subscribed to it.. I feel pretty sure that the Baxters were part of the Ulster Plantation. This is just all so addictive and fun. Guess it beats drugs and alcohol! 3. Someday maybe someone will know about them. I do not even know the name of my great great grandmother! This is just pathetic. 3. That's one advantage to having Catholic ancestors. I am 95% certain my gggm's name was Mary. 3. Kathleen On some lists the reply does go direct to one person. I hit "Reply to All " which keeps other people on the list informed. I must say in my experience those lists where the reply goes to one person are as dull as dishwater and not very active. It is a different matter on this list which is the best and busiest of all rootsweb lists. Welome to Fermanagh-Gold List Hitting "reply" comes through to us all and everyone can keep pace with the progress of the enquiry. And can often even add to the information someone else has given. Hope that helps you Regards Viola --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com

    3. Much better Vi, there are 1218 Pension Applications in Dublin for Fermanagh people and I did a quick search for Baxter... no results! Now everyone knows and saves them time and Internet usage looking. I found death date/Will now everyone knows and saves them time and Internet usage looking. Dull as dishwater is correct as no one know what, if any, replies were sent nor can anyone search for anyone as there nothing to search except questions/queries.
