Advocate (Melbourne, Vic. : 1868 - 1954) Saturday 14 January 1882 p 5 SYMPATHY WITH A TENANT.A correspondent writes from Boho, county Fermanagh :— " As a proof of the unity existing in this part of Fermanagh between Catholics and Protestants, I may mention that on the 3rd inst. a large number of persons in the neighbourhood of Dromore assembled and dug the potatoes of Mr. Noble Johnston. As early as six o clock in the morning the farmers' stalwart sons were seen making their way towards the residence of Mr. Johnston. Bodies of men continued to arrive up to twelve o'clock. The work was satisfactorily accomplished in the course of the evening and those who assisted in the labour were hospitably entertained at Mr. Johnston's house. During the day some of the constabulary put in an appearance but their presence was in no way allowed to interfere with the task of the workmen.
