Carole wanted a message if Tyrone Freeholders can be found so I sent message! Someone might actually be interested in where they can be found.. they are on PRONI. http://applications.proni.gov.uk/Freeholders/AdvancedSearch.aspx Just put in Surname and Tyrone.. OR Tyrone to get them all. Dave
This is an interesting resource! I put in DOLAN, Cavan, and several came up. Having difficulty with the column headings as the writing is not easily translatable. Probably just need a secretary! :) After second eye surgery next week I shall try again. Thanks so much for posting. How many times have you tried for a Secretary?? On 21/03/2015 00:40, Dee Byster-Graham wrote: Probably just need a secretary!:) After second eye surgery next week I shall try again.
Obviously not often enough! Wrote to Joe Snow (Cork) yesterday, had to type the letter in font 14 so I could see all the mistakes - poor Joe, about 15 pages of A4 to plough through. Lovely man that he is, he shall probably simply put it down to having a daft Colonial 4th cousin, and I shall have to send the blessed thing parcel post.:) Seriously great resource, the Freeholder's List! Kindly, Dee. -----Original Message----- From: fermanagh-gold-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:fermanagh-gold-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Dave H via Sent: Saturday, 21 March 2015 10:45 AM To: fermanagh-gold@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: FERMANAGH-GOLD Tyrone Freeholders How many times have you tried for a Secretary?? The Kilskeery, Tyrone freeholder list I would like to find, is the one listed in the Irish newpapers in the years 1829/1831/1835 or thereabouts. I listed the pages for Fermanagh, they were published in 1829. Carole. > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
