DH ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ In-Reply-To: <[email protected]> May I thank the people who responded to my posting of late January. Unfortunately, all suggested courses of action have already been followed, and nothing has been gained from them. As I stated, we live in Australia and have visited Ireland five times. We spent a lot of time in Roslea and Monaghan Town, with some stays up to 7 days. It's a long haul from here to Ireland, and we accept that our next visit may well be our last. Age and health must be taken into account. My wish was that someone from the Roslea/Clones/Monaghan Town area who was researching the McKenna family would reply to my posting. I am disappointed to reveal that such was not the case. Many headstones/gravestones in the cemetery beside the lovely St Tierney's Church prove that a strong McKenna connection still exists in the area. Your honour, I rest my case.
