I have been so impressed with the free church records on Find My Past that I just subscribed. If any of you are interested in it, you may still be able to get a 20% discount through midnight (GMT - I think) March 31. I have been using their links to the church records ever since they came out and feeling guilty that I was a not a subscriber. Then I got a free month of the whole World subscription because of my Mocavo subscription. When I looked at that this morning and saw what they have to offer (compared to Ancestry) I could not resist. ALL of my ancestors came from Ireland (at least for the last several several hundred years) so the fact that FMP concentrates on the Irish in Ireland and where they went: UK, US and Canada, and Australia and New Zealand really hit home. They are focusing on WHAT I NEED - not the whole world!!! The fact that they are based in Dublin also makes me feel like I am contributing to the Irish economy. I may not renew my Ancestry when it comes due in couple of months. I certainly will NOT renew the world version. For less than the cost of an Ancestry US subscription, I got the World on FMP!
