Some years ago I obtained from PRONI, papers regarding the Johnston family starting with Gerard Johnston m. Elizabeth Chittick in 1823. They were apparently from Glenross. I became interested because one of their children, William Johnston b. 1829 lived at Crevinish, Magheraculmoney, where my Morrows lived. Quite a few Morrows married Johnstons. One of the Johnstons - John James I think, went to the Victorian Goldfields and I have a copy of a letter sent by him to his family in 1868. If anyone is connected with this family I would be happy to let them have some of this information. Margaret in Oz.
