    3. Hi Dave The Pattersons I traced were from Drumacahan, Drumkeeran. My Robert LAWSON married Margaret PATTERSON on 27 February 1855 at Tubrid Church, Drumkeeran. The record showed her as PEDERSON and it was one of my early finds on Fermanagh Gold. Margaret's parents were Launcelott Patterson b abt 1788 and his wife Ann DUNCAN. They had a large family of 11 children: Thomas Feb 1805, Margaret Dec 1805 , Alicia 1807, George 1811, Samuel (married to Jane NOBLE), John 1816 (married to Elizabeth Mulligan), Anne (1819), Thomas 1823, Lancelott 1826, Martha 1827, and Elizabeth 1829. I understand there were still Pattersons living in the area in 2005. I also have a record (but without any further information) of - Jane Patterson b 1805 Father Daniel Patterson - Margaret Patterson b 1872 Father Alexander Patterson Mother Mary Ann Rankin Your Alexander in Devenish was about 20 years younger than Launcelott and possibly not connected in any way. But you never know!
