Hi Everyone, I have missed FG but put the extra time to good use and I HAVE NOW FOUND the CLIBBORN GARLAND 1839 marriage I have been searching for FOREVER!!! I took advantage of the index to Catholic PRs on Ancestry and made a few mental jumps and there it was, but the Clibborn name was so faint the indexer had not picked it up at all. So I transferred to the NLI site because that has better screen enhancements and ONLY because I knew it was there I could read every letter! This was in the next county to where I had been looking. I am very grateful to Eilish, Marge, Dave, and others who gave me advice on dispensations. I have the names of the marriage sponsors and when I have more time I will work on their origins, which MAY lead me to a parish where I can check further. But that is for the future.
