Hi AllThis family from Feddans, Drumkeeran were part of a huge migration from the Kesh/Ederny area of Fermanagh to the Robertson/Kiama district in the southern highlands of NSW in the mid 1800s. I think Robert was a canny man, as the parents, John & Mary's ages were recorded a bit on the conservative side, probably to qualify for assisted passage as Robert who is the depositor is their son born in about 1828 or 1829, making him about 30 at the time of this record and the father could have been 60 or older. He also assisted my ancestors, his niece and nephew, John Crozier and Lizzie Johnston from the same Parish, later in 1878. If he belongs to our family, even the least expensive 12-markers test will show the kinship as we have a very distinctive Y-DNA profile.
